Framing

The map looks its best when it’s framed properly.

You can put it in a normal frame but don’t forget you’ll need to be able to scratch it off as you go so you'll need to remove the plastic front that normally comes with frames.

The map is A2 size, printed on high quality, thick silk paper. The options are:

  • Put it in an A2 frame and remove the plastic or glass frontage.
  • Take it to a framing shop for a professional finish.
  • Search for a 42cm (for the National Parks and Cities maps) or 61cm (for the Dartmoor, Peak District and Lake District maps) poster hanger on Amazon and pick your style.
  • IKEA currently have a non magnetic version as well, make sure you get the right size – 42cm (for the portrait maps) or 61cm (for the landscape maps)
